Source of Happiness

Life is a repetitive of happiness followed by unhappiness. It's a circle. I mean cycle. Everyone awaits the moment of happiness everyday, whereas some don't see where they come from.

Where is the source of happiness? I am lucky or because I'm easily contented that I find happiness everywhere in my life. I got so happy today because:

1. I finished a whole big packet of M&M's chocolate!
2. I made Bobby happy by making him his favourite mutton meal.
3. Company called up and said some artiste complimented my songs, and she want MORE!!
4. I wrote a song.
5. Sista called me up for a massage.
6. Went for a movie with my family and love.
7. Looking at my little brother NOW, sleeping on my bed.

But what do we expect next? Unhappy events? Why do we always fall so deep in emotion like falling from the sky each time we feel so fulfilling bout our lives? Is this why some ppl chose to shun away from being too happy?

A master once told me that life always needs a balance. The "Middleway" he called that, is where we mustn't be feeling "OVERLY" with something. Too happy, too sad, too ambitious, too skeptical, too confident, too scared! An average of everything is the best medicine I guess. Sounds like my mum when she said about eating. Eat all sorts of thing u like, but moderately!

Well, it does make sense because when you feel on top of the world, the next moment u might be feeling empty again when things are back to normal. This is when we start looking for our source of Happiness.

What is your source of happiness? Try looking for one now if you have not found any. And it's better to have more options because you do not want to have a double let down when your only source of Happiness is down on its mood! (hehe)...

Will You ‘Merry’ Me?

Just as I was listening to Bruno Mars’ Marry You, I figured out that the whole idea of getting married is so much fun to the girl. It started from getting proposed by their loved ones, got shocked, saying “YES, I DO!” and then wearing an engagement ring for the first time. Everyone gets touched and there will be eyes full of envy as they watch. Followed by putting on the veil & beautiful as white as pearl wedding dress, walk down the aisle and receive tons and tons of congratulatory messages. As soon as they are done with the ceremony, their new phase of life begins!

‘I am so bored with my life’, says Amelly.

‘Why? Aren’t you happily married with the one you have always loved?’

‘I mean, Yes, I am happily married with Zac, but that’s all. This is it. Aw, I just kinda miss my old freedom where I get to lead a life not having to report my whereabouts. Now I have to get back home on time for dinner, go marketing, helping to look after in-law’s kids, be a good wife, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, bla bla bla...’

‘Can’t you make sometime for yourselves, I mean, make a deal with your hubby! Ask him for some time on your own, not having to go through timetables. I guess he’ll be fine with your request, won’t he?’

‘I am so not sure about it. He might agree, but what will his family think about me? I don’t wanna ruin this ‘perfect’ moment he always wanted as a family. I guess it’s just too cruel.’

Many friends told me, getting married to the one you love doesn’t mean getting married to ONE person; you are in fact marrying into another family (as if we don’t have enough problems to handle in OUR own family). Time is always inadequate because we have to compromise and divide our most PRECIOUS free time (normally high-teas, chats till we’re out of topics, and sometimes sports with our own girlfriends) to both sides of our family. How many of us do enjoy such demanding “married job”? I certainly am afraid of it just by listening to stories from my girlfriends about how you have to cope with your in-laws!

This was why the second episode of Cinderella wasn’t popular! I bet you wouldn’t know it exist! I watched it, trust me. And it was just so down to earth, no fairy tales worth for us to imagine because it was all about her being married into the royal family, was trying her best to fit herself into her new status and home. Of course they didn’t leave out the part where she has to build the relationship between herself and her IN-LAWS, the King and the Queen! In the movie, she was often left alone at home because the prince needs to go away from home all the time and all she could do was wait. She also had to prepare a feast to welcome the prince when he’s back. In conclusion, she was all the time waiting and serving her man and his family. Some of you might find it interesting but how long can you do this for?

Is there life after marriage? We truly wanna believe in it, but we need some real good examples badly before we wanna jump into it. I am sure that this topic always brings about a very tough and exhausting debate! Well, to each his own! Anyway, Bruno Mars’ Marry You was actually quite a good suggestion we can try if we wanna just get ‘merry’ instead of ‘married’ as his lyrics goes;

‘If you wake up and you wanna break up that’s cool. No I won’t blame you. It was fun, girl.’

A father's day wish: Dads, wake the hell up!

I know it's bad to be criticizing most dads at a day like this, but like what Jeff Pearlman says,
"Make Father's Day less about you, and all about them."

Well, even though our dads have lots of shortcomings, but we can't deny that they do love us as much as we love them. My dad always cook my favourite food when I'm back home, he always switch my touch n' go card with his (coz his was always loaded), he always help me with my car, he always ask if we needed to go for foot massage etc etc.... Isn't it good enuff?
So, Happy Father's Day, Dad!

A father's day wish: Dads, wake the hell up!

(CNN) -- The woman started crying.
I didn't expect this, because, well, why would I? We were two adults, standing in a preschool auditorium, waiting for the year-end musical gala to begin, talking summer plans and Twitter and junk fiction and all things mindless parents talk at mindless events. Then -- tears.
"My husband," she said, "doesn't care."
"Uh, about what?" I asked.

The floodgates now open, she told me her husband works from home. But he never drops their daughter off at preschool. He never picks their daughter up at preschool. He never wakes up with their daughter, never puts her to bed, never takes her to a movie or a carnival or a ball game; never comes up with fun daddy-daughter activities. "All he worries about is golf," the mother said. "Sometimes he'll take her to the driving range for an hour. But that's it. ..."
Two days later, by mere coincidence, a different mother cornered me. I was sitting in a pizzeria with my son, Emmett, and daughter, Casey, gnawing on a calzone. The woman, another preschool regular who always seems to be dragging around her kids with the worn look of a chain gang inmate, glanced my way and muttered, "My husband would never do that."
"Do what?" I asked.
"Be out alone with both of the kids at once," she said. "Never."

In case you are wondering, I am that dad. The one who works out of the house. The one who drives his kids to school, packs lunches and pushes swings and arranges play dates and attends teacher conferences and -- generally speaking -- frequently finds himself alone in brightly colored rooms filled with women and tykes.

Along with my wife (who, until recently, also worked from home), I wipe snot, clean poop, order time outs and say no -- Really, no! I'm being serious, no! -- to the damned ice cream man and his Satanic siren call. I know all of my kids' friends, and most of their tendencies (Ashley and Emily love dolls, Lucas only wants to talk about Derek Jeter, Tyler digs applesauce).

Hence, I have been sent here today, on behalf of the stay-at-home mothers of the world, to convey to my fellow pops a message of love and hope in this lead-up to Father's Day: Wake the hell up.
Really, wake the hell up. Now. I understand that most of you have 9-to-5 jobs, that you leave tired and come home tired and just wanna chill in front of SportsCenter with a bowl of chips. But, seriously, you have no remote idea: Being a stay-at-home parent is exhausting. At the office, you can hide. You can take lunch. You can pretend you're working while scrolling the Internet for Yankees-Blue Jays and, ahem, Lindsay Lohan news. You have genuine social interactions with folks over the age of, oh, 12. People ask questions about your day -- and listen to the answers.
I envy you, but I sort of pity you. Kids grow. Age 1 turns to age 3, which turns to age 7, which turns to 15 and 18 and 21, all in the blink of an eye. If you're there, as I am, it flies. If you're not there -- if you're almost never there -- it barely exists at all. Which is why I just can't stomach those millions of dads who view their days at home as recovery from work, who'd rather rest than engage, who have no problem with passing the tykes off for more alone time with mom and who, literally, moan to their wives, "You have no idea how hard I work."

For you, I offer these 10 commandments of righteous fatherhood. Pay close attention, because, behind your back, people are pitying your wife:

1. No golf on weekends: Seriously, it's ludicrous. Your spouse is home with the kids all the time, and you think it's OK to take five hours on a weekend day to pursue your own pastime? Selfishness, thy name is Father.
2. Wake up: Literally, wake up. With your kids. On at least one of the two weekend days -- and perhaps both. I know: you wake up early for work. Not even remotely the same thing. Rising alongside the kiddies is hard. And crazy. And (gasp!) sorta fun, if you'd just stop moping.
3. Change diapers: If you have little kids, and you don't know how to change diapers (or, even worse, refuse to change diapers), you're pathetic. That's no exaggeration -- p-a-t-h-e-t-i-c. It's not all that hard, and though the poop sometimes winds up on the fingers, well, uh, yeah. It just does. Wash your hands.
4. Play with dolls and paint your toenails: How many fathers do I know who refuse to get girlish with their girls? Dozens. Dude, put aside the machismo, break out Barbie and slather on some pink polish. You'll make a friend for life -- and nobody else is watching.
5. Do things you don't want to do: It's easy to take the kids to the driving range -- because you want to be there. Now try spending the day having a tea party at American Girl. Or crawling through one of those wormholes at the nearby kiddie gym. Fun? Often, no. But this isn't about you.
6. Order the wife to bug off: I recently met a mother who told me her husband hadn't been alone with their 9-year-old daughter for more than two hours ... ever. Inexcusable. Let your wife do her own thing: relax, take a run, whatever. Entertain your children solo. They don't bite (Note: CNN.com is not liable if your children do, in fact, bite).
7. Surprise! Just once, on a random day without meaning or purpose, show up early at your kid's school/camp/wherever, say "Get in the car!" and take him/her somewhere special. Just the two of you, alone. A movie. A park. A hike. The memory lasts -- I promise.
8. Dishes Don't Clean Themselves (Nor Do Toys): It's amazing how this one works. You pick up a dish, run it under hot water with some soap, rub it down with a towel and place it back on the shelf. Then repeat.
9. Wake up your kid: Not often. But if you want to score big points and create a killer memory moment, walk in Junior's room at, oh, midnight, wake him/her up and go outside for 10 minutes to watch the stars.
10. For God's sake, tell your kids you love them: They never see you, and they'd probably like to know.

Bud, as you read this your wife is expecting little -- and your kids are expecting even less. Pull one out of the blue. Make Father's Day less about you, and all about them.

A Rebel or a Goody-Two-Shoes?

Life is short. You wouldn't know what will happen the next minute you walk out of the door or when you go to bed. Sometimes I live a lazy life. Get out of bed, make a cup of coffee even without brushing my teeth and sit in front of my lappie browsing through FB. I was numb, I was dreaming, I wasn't awake, because I believed we need to spend quality time with our self. At this moment, our parents will come knocking on our door.

"Hi there, what are you doing?"
"Hi Mum, nothing."
"Nothing? Why don't you go for a jog? Or you should go do some ... ... ... .... ...... "

There were always tons of things waiting for me to get it done, or at least find 'something' to do. Parents always know what's best for us, isn't it? But do they really understand our needs?

I was always a Rebel in my family. Don't get me wrong. I'm 100% truthful, loving, & definitely a filial daughter. I love spending time with them. Being a rebel doesn't mean breaking their hearts. The world doesn't stop spinning. Clock ticks. Times change. People improve. Things aren't the same every decade. We have our own thoughts and ideas bout life every now & then. Can our parents accept them? Yes they can (I always believed that) but it takes time. I simply LOVE my mum! She always keeps herself updated bout things. Communication breakdowns were the last thing I wanted in my family. But we can't escape them.

Parents are like listeners. I don't wanna be in the comfort zone & do the norm. I do not care if the majority doesn't like my music because I believed I have a group of people who understands me & my music.

It's time for you to spend some quality time with yourself & start noticing if you have ever understand your own needs.

DC Superheroes

Had my new DC Superheroes photoshoot last Wednesday and I was soooo excited bout it becoz it was quite a long time since our previous shoots. This time, it went wilder, dirtier, and more evil....!!!Yea! Tat was really fun.

First, we started off with the dirty look (make-up). Not done yet... Becoz the final one was really dirty!!

Then the hair...

Then we went on to see the clothes... Only to realize.... We forgot to update Irwan my current size :/
(oh no).. So there were lots of pinning to do... Aiks...

And then we started off with moving shots...

What a waste, Irwan needed to cut the t-shirts into holes like torn effect. But hell nice!

Time for some touch-up, more cuttings, and spraying me with water for more WET & dirty look!

Results even before touching-up was superb!! Totally in love with it.. What do you think?

There were shots of me lying down.... First time... (wink wink)... ! Turned out fine... (luckily)..

This is the 3rd year working for DC Superheroes.. Wonder how well i scored for the 3rd one....Can't Wait!

The mood for love. 虽然是一个人，心理还是有一种温暖。因为身边有好多好多人曾经陪伴着我。 Browsing through my photo album, i feel so blessed because there are so many of you who had been through thick and thin with me. I randomly picked some nice photos of everyone around me, be it with my family (the most important ppl in my life) or my close friends (ppl who stand by me and made my life filled with joy & happiness), into a video with my x'mas song that i released few years back. 自从音乐变成工作时，对音乐的热诚越来越少。是因为压力？天天在想要怎么创作或带出大众喜欢的音乐而忽略了自己对音乐的热诚。我到底喜欢怎么样的歌曲，喜欢在什么时候听怎么样的旋律，喜欢在心情好坏的时候听怎么样的节奏，我到底还记得吗？还在享受吗？

也许是因为单独一个人工作太久了，我是说 as a Solo 歌手，感觉非常寂寞。但因为台下热烈的掌声偶尔会提醒我， That I am not alone。。。 Well, 但还是模糊了。我对音乐的那份真诚。不见了。。。我对这样的态度非常感到难过，所以一直在思考。

洗澡的时候听到邻居在玩 Scottish Pipe (每天哦!), 在家上网的时候听到另外一位邻居在享受Bob Marley 的歌曲，在另外一边又是在弹这摇滚electric guitar，周围一些朋友一直追求热爱的饶舌歌手 “Soft Lipa” - 蛋堡，再想到我爸每天都在弹着他喜欢的Blues曲，才发现我忘了享受，爱音乐！

看着周围的朋友是多么的热爱音乐让我突然又对音乐充满了爱。所以希望除了工作我还能跟我身边的朋友和家人一起享受，一起玩音乐。。。最近upload 了几个我在玩，在享受音乐的短片，希望大家能感受到。 (大家可以在我部落各的右手边看到我的videos)。: >

Last weekend, through Daydream and Manhand, got to know this cute little bear girl called Daphne, a singaporean cutie.. She's fun to be with, and super natural... Tat's the kind of girl i have always liked to be with. Glad to know her...

Well, she made me miss SG so much.. Miss lao pat sat satay from Satay Power, miss Rojak from Chinatown, miss hokkien prawn mee, miss walking to the nearby food court to take-away food for everybody, miss ordering "kopi gao xiu dai" (咖啡浓少糖) for Kenn Wu, miss Tian Hwee, miss geylang studio, miss playing with protools, miss YaKun breakfast!!, miss katong laksa, miss Rain (my golden retriever that has been adopted by a rich granny when he was 1 yr ++, who wouldn't let me see him again becoz the last time i went to see him, we had so much fun, and when i left, he threw tantrums and showed disobedience), miss fetching Tian Hwee back to coperation rd (even though it's freaking far), miss having McD's at east coast, miss zifen jie's chilli crab @ newton circus, miss recording for my first album (让世界听到).... miss miss miss.....

Daphne, it's all your fault.... haiz.... hahaha... it's ok, i shall plan for a short holiday trip there... east coast right?? yup, onz........

Justin 側田's Malaysia Concert

Just came back from Arena Genting, Justin's concert. Was a nice one, enjoyed his songs, his natural stage performance, and his sense of humour. Nicholas was really enjoying throughout the concert and didn't want to leave for the interview (during encore). He was singing throughout his performances and forced me to sing!! Hello! Cantonese la, brother!

Went for Kepong Bak Kut Teh for supper. Nice. Thanks Mr Nicholas for the treat. Overall, this short trip was an enjoyable one for Befun, Nicholas and me. Planning for our next one soon. :)

My [S]uperheroes!

This is me, myself and I, having lunch around sunway damansara. Fell in love with the chilli pan mee, so there i was having lunch all by myself after driving around settling some work and personal stuffs.

Just went and took a couple of pairs of sneakers from 《S》uperheroes. LOVE IT to BITS!!! Seriously. I love the colours. It was young, energetic & DAMN ATTITUDE! Fooh.. I wore it immediately! hahaha... Took 1 pair for my mum as well, and im sure she's gonna love them.

Was damn GLAD to see that they actually came up with slippers as well! Damn COOL. Think I'm not done shopping there yet! Gonna go another round again soon. hehehe....

Oh yes, SOON, there will be an announcement to make from 《S》uperheroes, a great deal, and news of coz for you guys (Dizzies) and me. hehehe... Stay updated! Adios!

Watched Sorcerer's Apprentice with John. It was really good! U know, coz i only watch those stupid romantic movies, or comedies, or something like Sorcerer's Apprentice, Magical and not real! hahaha... Maybe becoz I'm a Pisces, likes daydreaming, magical stuffs, romance. Ok, tat explains why...

Ya, talking about Sorcerer's apprentice, Nicholas cage rocks! But the ending was a little bit too sudden though. Too sudden that the boy finally realizes that he can use his power without the ring. But i like where they actually combine science with their magic power. hahaha... Overall, it's a must watch for girls!

Next will be The Last Airbender. Ryan has been pestering me for weeks, i mean he was already doing some booking to my schedule! He watches Avatar cartoon, so he knows this guy. I mean the airbender! hahhaa... Cant wait to catch this show... :)

舞台上表演的人都是在表现他/她最自然的一面吗？我不知道。。。可是我知道我需要享受才能把我最好的表现出来。因为喜欢唱歌，因为喜欢看听众的脸上都写着“好听”这两个字，因为喜欢听到很大很大的掌声，所以比赛，所以当艺人，所以发片，所以宣传。进入了娱乐圈，才知道没那么单纯。。。。。。。我会尽量享受。。找回一个平衡点。

前天去支持了一位老友， Jeanie Lee (李幸倪). 之前我们是 Forest Lullaby 一起享受舞台的歌手。 Sonia, Jeanie & I 是团队里的主唱。还有James, Haris, Zero, Fam & Leslie. 觉得那个时候的我很单纯的喜欢音乐。感觉很好。谢谢James! 哈哈。。。

前天Jeanie的表现非常好。一直以来都很会唱的她又进步了！非常厉害。。而且她就是那种不管发生什么事都会很享受舞台的人。台下的我们收获很多。。。要继续加油！！ Bolehlah!! hahaha...

Last night (Friday) for the first time in my life, my parents, Ryan & I went for a movie! Just the four of us. Went for quick dinner and then movie. Watched Karate Kid and it's awesome!! Ryan was so nervous & excited throughout the show that he shivered. Jaden Smith is really cute & he really look like his father. Thumbs up for Karate Kid 2010. Go watch it in the cinema while u can now.. :)

Finally get to go Penang in a more relaxed way... Thank to Gao Jian lao shi, Crystal & Team.. They have been really kind to bring us everywhere. Especially when it comes to FOOD! Penang is really really a nice place to stay and hang out. So clean, relax and the people are kind. Guys there are cute too.! :0 haha...

Went to Gurney plaza and finally saw my superheroes poster in the building. Went into the shop as well to take a pic with myself... haha... When we went inside, we asked if we can take photo... Then they asked me what is it for, so i said, it's for my own keepsake... Ok... See, i told u.. It doesn't look like me at all...... wooo wooo wooo.......

A lost rabbit...

Two weeks ago, neighbour's Schnauzer was barking non-stop that all of us at home couldn't tolerate it anymore. So i went over to neighbour's house and asked whether if they needed any help. There, true enuf, they needed some help.

A poor little rabbit (seems lost) went over to their house. Their schnauzer was too big for him, almost hurt him. So separated them. It explains why the schnauzer was barking non-stop. So i volunteered in taking care of the rabbit. While informing the security guards to put up notice for missing rabbit.

I couldn't take care of the rabbit coz my front gate's gab is too big and the rabbit escaped. Someone else in the neighbourhood volunteered to take care of him temporary now. I feel that this poor little rabbit is not owned and it's up for adoption.

Do let me know if any of you wants to own this little rabbit, taking really great care of him. He is really cute. ...

American Idol Season 9

Congrats, Lee for winning Season Nine. Results were quite obvious although Crystal is the better performer. However, I have never felt anything for Crystal's performances compared to Lee's. When he is really into the song, i have goosebumps even though his pitching is always here and there. This season, i felt a little disappointed becoz there were no Adam Lambert. He is da bomb!! haha.... Love him to bits...

Well, American Idol Season 9 Finale's MAIN attraction (to me), was the powerful, irreplaceable, Diva "Christina Aguilera"!!! Her new song was really NICE! Although i couldn't figure out how the melody for the Chorus goes, but the verse was really incredible. Her performance was brilliant and she really showed us all the quality of an Artiste! She's really a blast!

My press conference for <风> EP

May 24th 2010

Held a press conference for my new released EP Wind <风> in Malaysia. Compiled 3 songs namely Wind <风>, Red Bean Dream <红豆梦>, & Kaleidoscope <万花筒>. As usual, worked closely with Kenn Wu (who wrote the 3 songs above), and also the arranger for all my songs you have ever heard. Lyricist for the main single Wind <风> is Adam Hsu <许常德>. This is the 2nd song he wrote for me and am glad that we are working closely and comfortably. And the other lyricist working close together is Bryan Gao <高见> who is a very close friend of Kenn & me. And this time, I'm happy to work with Peter Chong for Wind <风>'s mixing and I love every details he put into it.

Red Bean Dream <红豆梦> & Kaleidoscope <万花筒> are songs recorded for the movie soundtrack The Four Beauties <四大美人> which is released in Mainland China only. Had 2 roles in this movie too as special appearance. Quite fun! :)

And so, the press conference, happy to see most of the reporters were there to cover my story and I wasn't pissed off when they asked me 'hard to answer' questions. It's their job to get the juiciest news out of every artiste and well, they did it. To me, it's like a whole new experience and i kinda enjoyed it. I am the straightforward kind of person (if you know me), and ppl around me kinda enjoy this function of mine?? ... ...

PARIS - The junk food and poor eating habits affecting humans is also killing their four-legged pals, say veterinary surgeons and experts.

Allergies and obesity are reducing the life expectancy of Lassies and Mittens nourished worldwide on industrial foodstuffs, said Gerard Lippert, a Belgian acupuncturist for animals who has just completed a study on the diets of 600 dead dogs.

"Pets, like humans, are victims of junk food," he told AFP.

Of the 600 furry corpses he examined "those fed on processed foods died three years earlier than those fed on food made in the home."

Dogs, he added, "originally were omnivores who shared their food with humans."

Rippert said he was increasingly called on to heal skin, motor and digestive problems as acupuncture was an all-embracing method enabling work on practically all organs.

"Dry dog food and cat food croquettes are over-heated, which destroys vitamins, trace elements and other basic nutritional elements," he said.

"We don't know the origin of the proteins in the foods," he added. "And there's an excessive amount of cereal, often genetically modified, and very little vegetables."

"We're turning our dogs and cats into ruminants," he said.

Laurence Colliard, a veterinary surgeon and nutritionist located in the Paris suburbs, estimates that only five percent of French pet-owners cook food for their four-legged companions.

France is Europe's top pet nation -- with 7.8 million dogs and 10.7 million cats, according to a 2008 study by the Sofres/Facco polling institute.

Citta Bella Interview - I am 百变 Superstar....?

刚刚拿到了 Citta Bella Malaysia May Issue 五月份的杂志。很兴奋。。因为对那天的 Photoshoots 和造型很感兴趣。这一次的主题是Military, 军人造型。衣服颜色的配搭和军人灵感的外套首饰等，让我觉得自己很帅气，很有时尚感，很有型。不是漂亮，而是很有性格。谢谢造型师，摄影师，化妆师，还有Citta Bella 和公司的安排! 很满意，让我想起我为 DC Superheroes 作的两种造型。

在拍摄DC Superheroes 的时候，想象自己是其中一位 Superheroes, 感觉很不错。那时候脑海里的画面是 Cat Woman! 结果照片里的我还真的蛮像只猫的。哈哈。。回味一下。。。

很喜欢尝试各种不一样的造型，很过硬。希望很快又有机会再拍摄然后跟大家分享。

Women are to blame for earthquakes, says Iranian cleric

The world's most earthquake prone country in the world has scantily clad and promiscuous women to blame for the natural disasters that befall them.

During a sermon, cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi's said, "many women who do not dress modestly, lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which increases earthquakes."

His sudden stroke of 'genius' follows a prediction made by the country's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, that a quake would soon hit Tehran, forcing many of its 12 million inhabitants to relocate.

The president could not, however, pin an exact date on his foresight.

Sedighi continued to say that there was no other solution but to take refuge in religion and to adapt our lives to reflect Islam's moral codes. "A divine authority told me to tell the people to make a general repentance. Why? Because calamities threaten us," said Sedighi, Tehran's acting Friday prayer leader.

Women in the Islamic Republic are required by law to be dressed covered head to toe. But many, especially the young, have ignored some of the stricter aspects of the code, wearing tight coats and scarves pulled far enough to reveal their hair.

Sadeq Mahsooli, the country's welfare minister also chimed in, saying that prayers and pleas for forgiveness were the best formulae to repel earthquakes. "We cannot invent a system that prevents earthquakes, but God has created this system and that is to avoid sins, to pray, to seek forgiveness, pay alms and self- sacrifice."

According to UK newspaper The Guardian, seismologists have warned for at least two decades that the Iranian capital would be struck by a disastrous quake in the near future.

One did hit the southern city of Bam in 2003, killing 31,000 people and destroying an ancient mud citadel.

This is Bob (Bobby). Just bathed, looks a little messy. But i just love the way he look at us. (sometimes he does look like a furry human being). hahaha.. It's like he is telling us something. He don't bark at us, even though he wants something so badly. Even though he is hungry, even though he wants his toys, even though he was locked outside the gate! He just don't bark at us. I think this is some kind of respect for us, his family. I really think so. Poor Bob, i felt i owe him so much. Dunno what. But i really do love him. We had so much fun and we had great memories. SISTAS Pot Luck Gathering

Finally a get together, Pot Luck style. Everyone of us brought something delicious. Val brought "Oh ah Jian" (Oyster Egg), "Wa Tan Ho" (Hong Kong style kuey teow), and BBQ chicken wings. Rene brought her mum's special "cha bee hoon" Mee Siam. Mel brought her 阿lao爱心fruit salad! And it's as pretty as she is... hahaha... Couldn't wait to get started. Had fruit salad and my delicious Caramel Egg Pudding for desserts. Ok, it was full of praised. Happy. hehe :D So we had a lot, of coz, and i gain weight again. :(

Can't remember who is the one who suggested we should actually call for our next gathering for SPORTS! everyone went like ........... erm.................. ..... erm....... hahahaha.. ok, it's not gonna work. Nobody will turn up. But i feel even though we went for sports, in the end we will end up in foodcourt having supper after the exercise session! Please don't laugh, U know it's true.

Can't believe Mel's hubby is such a caring and considerate person. The fruit salad is really pretty & looks so full of love inside them. Erm, maybe purposely show off one la... His lao po what, so must do something to show US, the unmarried ones how lucky and 幸福 they are now... eeeshhh... ok loh, 嫁对老公了咯... hehehe...

And worse of all, miss Val announced her engagement with her Mr Wood! We went like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......... Will i be the last one standing??? Rene, wait for me.

My first "Caramel Egg Pudding"

Do you guys like Desserts?? Sweet stuffs... Well, i recently learnt this from my Uncle who just came home from Sarawak, and he's a chef. A great cook! He did this "Caramel Egg Pudding" and i instantly fell in love with it. Super delicious. And so i asked for his recipe, of coz! hahaha... It actually contains very easy to find ingredients like eggs, milk and sugar, but damn!, it tasted really nice and sweet.

And so, after he went back. It's my turn to try it on! hahaha... First, i make the caramel. It looks easy though, but it really wasn't! (well, at least not for a first timer like me). I was so worried i might waste all the ingredients. And i definitely wasted the first portion of sugar!!!!! Coz i burnt it...!!! And i burnt my fingers too.... :( so sad and was panicking.... My dad came in and said, "girl, fire too big". wahahaha.. Ok! Got it.. And i made it for the 2nd time... So cool. :D

And then everything went smoothly... And Tada...!! Here you are....

It's so beautiful isn't it? hehehe.. self-praising yea? Sorry guys, u only get to see it. Wahahaha.. Well, it was gone within a day! Ryan (my bro) had at least 5 servings. Dad's friends had some, me had some, mum had some, dad had some, and i gave some to my new neighbour and also my ex-college mate, Bryan. And it's Gone!
